These Terms of Use govern access to and use of BidPilot. By downloading, accessing, or using BidPilot, you agree to these Terms. If you use BidPilot for a business or organisation, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms on its behalf.

1. About BidPilot

BidPilot is a quotation, estimating, and job-planning tool for tradespeople, contractors, and related businesses. It can store customer details, prepare quotations, calculate prices and profitability, generate PDFs, maintain estimating libraries, export internal costs, and schedule accepted work.

2. Eligibility and authority

You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into a contract to purchase or use BidPilot. You must also have authority to enter and use all company, customer, employee, supplier, and subcontractor information added to the App.

3. Your responsibilities

4. Device and account security

BidPilot stores its working database locally and may use the Apple ID signed into iCloud to sync records through the user’s private CloudKit database. You are responsible for securing your device, passcode, Apple account, email account, and connected sharing or storage accounts.

5. Acceptable use

You must not use BidPilot unlawfully, fraudulently, or to create misleading documents. You must not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security or availability, share harmful code, reverse engineer the app beyond what law permits, or use BidPilot to infringe another person’s rights.

6. Customer and business data

Your working BidPilot database is stored locally on your device and may sync through your private Apple CloudKit database. You retain responsibility for the information entered into the App and for the security and availability of your Apple account.

7. Quotations, VAT and calculations

BidPilot is a productivity tool, not accounting, tax, legal, or financial advice. VAT, CIS, overhead, mark-up, margin, and similar calculations are aids based on the information you supply. You must verify outputs and obtain qualified advice where needed.

8. Free and Pro plans

BidPilot may offer Free and paid Pro functionality. Features, limits, billing periods, and prices are shown in the App or App Store before purchase. We may change plan features or prices prospectively.

9. Apple subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are purchased and managed through the Apple App Store. Payment is charged to your Apple account, subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through Apple, and deleting the app does not by itself cancel a subscription.

10. Availability and support

We aim to make BidPilot reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free, or permanently available operation. Support requests can be sent to support@oriongle.co.uk.

11. Intellectual property

BidPilot, its branding, software, interface, documentation, and supplied content are owned by or licensed to Orion GLE Ltd and protected by intellectual-property laws. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use BidPilot for internal personal or business purposes.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, BidPilot is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee that any estimate, price, tax treatment, profit calculation, or generated document is accurate or suitable. Subject to applicable law, Orion GLE Ltd is not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from use of BidPilot.

13. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you use BidPilot for business purposes, the courts of England and Wales will have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that apply.
